“ EXCELLENT! Taco Tuesday was awesome and it's a great atmosphere! Shredded Chicken and beef tacos were delicious! Side of rice and beans can be split between 2 people. Also loved that they gave everyone in our party their own salsa cup for dipping the chips. Service was great! ”

“ We have been here 4 times now. I really like the food. It is fresh and delicious. Very big restaurant that can handle large seating. This last time though we had a server that did not write our order down. He got several things wrong and was too busy to connect with us. So much so He was unaware he never brought my husband's meal. We will be back because we enjoy the food but we hope to never have service like that again or we will have to find a New Mexican restaurant to enjoy. ”

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere. Our server was incredibly attentive and friendly, making us feel right at home. We started with the shrimp fajitas and shrimp quesadillas. The fajitas were absolutely phenomenal - the shrimp were cooked to perfection and the flavors were bursting with authenticity. The quesadillas were equally delicious, loaded with savory shrimp and other delectable ingredients. The restaurant's décor is stunning, with beautiful murals adorning the exterior. And to top off our meal, we indulged in a Tres Leches cake that was simply divine. Would I eat here again? Absolutely! If you're looking for a truly great Mexican dining experience, I highly recommend Jose Locos. It's a hidden gem that won't disappoint! ”
“ After a grueling 11 hours drive we found ourselves searching for dinner at 8:45pm on a Sunday night. Luckily Jose's was 4 minutes from the hotel and was accommodating to our to go order. The employee that took my order was patient, kind, and quick! I had the entire order and was back in my hotel room at 9pm. We ordered the horchata which was homemade. It was so creamy and had a nice vanilla flavor, we both would highly recommend trying it. Then we shared an order of chicken fajitas which were fantastic. We hate green peppers and they allowed us to substitute jalapeño for the green giving it a great spice. And the accoutrements were on point, their beans and rice were great and loved their salsa. The fajitas come with three corn tortillas, there is plenty so I would recommend getting a second portion (if Jose's allows, we did not ask) and split, you will both be well fed. If we lived around here we would go again but for us it was a great ending to our first day of travel! ”
“ We are in town from Kansas City and found this place. This is the BEST MEXICAN restaurant in Springfield! Killer drinks-Coco Loco, Long Island ice tea, Margarita, and GIANT Miller light were all great. But the food was outta this world. Chicken Fajitas and pick 2 entree were flavorful and really large portions. The restaurant was crowded, yet the service was fast and food delicious. Thank you Camilo for being a TERRIFIC server! “ Visited on a Friday night and was surprised by the live singing which was beautiful but got a little loud as the night went on. I had tacos a La cart and a watermelon marg. I didn't enjoy the marg it didn't taste like watermelon but the shrimp and the steak tacos were good. I didn't enjoy the chips and salsa but the queso was delicious and probably my fav thing here. The service was quick and our server was patient and friendly. ”
